Executive coaching for leaders seeking practical solutions and lasting results.

Hi! I’m Martin.
Let’s keep things casual, shall we?
You’re striving for success, but you find yourself in a challenging situation that’s bringing negative feedback instead of the results you’re aiming for.
You’re starting to doubt yourself or your abilities. You need to come up for air, turn the situation around, and (re)discover success.
You’re ready to question your methods, but not to compromise your values or lose sight of who you are.

If these aspirations resonate with you and you’re looking for practical ways to overcome your challenges (while staying true to yourself), I have a structured approach to offer.

(Keep scrolling to see examples of leadership challenges I help address through coaching.)

Martin is an exceptional coach who skillfully combines empathy, transparency, and authenticity to create an environment conducive to personal growth. His approach, grounded in practical solutions, was a game-changer for me. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to push their boundaries and achieve their full potential.

I often use metaphors, and I’ve got one for you.

Let’s compare the challenges of leadership to assembling an Ikea piece of furniture.

Being a leader is a bit like trying to assemble an Ikea wardrobe without the manual.

No matter how much you turn the pieces around, sometimes they just won’t fit together.

Leadership is a lot like that.

We all have our little techniques that worked for us in the past, helping us get results. But the furniture changes (and so does the world of management). What used to work stops working when the context evolves.

So, there you are with your trusty Allen key, insisting on your old technique, thinking, “If it worked before, it should work this time!”

But when our technique (or management approach) fails, we double down, start blaming the manual (or our colleagues), and slowly, our self-confidence takes a hit…

Breaking old habits is nearly impossible without the help of a coach.

Nearly 300 business leaders, executive team members, business unit leaders, and mid-level managers coached since 2009.

By regularly challenging my actions and decisions, Martin helped me express myself more effectively and overcome my imposter syndrome.

Our weekly conversations encouraged me to reflect on my actions and choices, gradually helping me build the leadership presence I aspired to achieve.

Here are a few examples of leadership challenges I’ve helped address through coaching.

“I’m under a lot of pressure to meet goals, but there are complaints that some people feel rushed or pushed too hard.”

On one hand, your ability to deliver positive results is highly valued, but on the other, your approach is being criticized.

What’s holding you back from achieving your goals is a misalignment between your leadership style and your organization’s expectations.

I promise you, it’s possible to reconcile all of this.

“I’m really confused. A lot of people are giving me feedback, but I don’t understand what it means.”

Unlike what others might tell you, we won’t spend our time evaluating your weaknesses or focusing on “areas for improvement.” In coaching, we’ll work from your natural strengths.

I promise you’ll be well-equipped to navigate your conventional environment—and regain your peace of mind.

“I’ve always delivered good results, but lately, I haven’t been meeting my goals.”

Instead of exploding in anger during a meeting (or breaking down in tears in your car), private conversations with your coach will help you regain your footing and implement concrete actions the very same day.

“I love my job and the company I work for, but the situation has become too challenging.”

Don’t wait for things to fix themselves. If you’re feeling this way, it’s definitely better to take action before you rage-quit your job.

Coaching sessions allowed me to step back and distinguish what’s important from what’s urgent.

Discussions with Martin helped me reconcile my needs as a leader with those of my organization.

I appreciated Martin’s ability to create conversations that enabled me to express my concerns and explore concrete solutions.

His coaching sessions taught me the art of “strategic letting go” and helped me make surprising connections that led to more informed decision-making.

Thanks to my sessions with Martin, I could dive back into action with a clearer understanding of both my personal and professional needs.

Three things set me apart as a leadership coach:

Coaching that’s directly applicable to your professional context (no philosophical musings or theories inspired by talking to plants).

My coaching approach is grounded in real-world experience and a deep understanding of the complexities of organizations and human dynamics.

As a leader, I’ve had my share of successes (and failures). I know what it takes to succeed.

A no-nonsense approach (yes, I’m direct but deeply supportive)

My approach lies at the intersection of empathy and honesty—what some call radical candor.

With me, coaching conversations aren’t about cheerleading. My goal is to help you progress quickly by telling you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear.

No time to waste (and no small talk).

This isn’t a networking cocktail party. You don’t have time to waste on circular conversations, ineffective empathy, or generic questions.

Together, we’ll set clear objectives, and like a good GPS, I’ll guide you to your destination—even when you choose to take a different route along the way.

I reached out to Martin to help me transition into an executive position in the banking sector.

He consistently used the right questions to guide my thinking to the right place, helping me accelerate insights that I might have eventually reached but over a much longer period.

Martin is intelligent, clear, and articulate, and he intervenes effectively with minimal words to help drive reflection forward.

Our coaching sessions helped me improve my management skills, and I would definitely recommend him!
